SAFE RIDES

Safe Rides is a program created by Ucabing Car Service to get drunk and impaired drivers off the streets. As a car service, we encounter many drunk and impaired clients every day. Some of them are drivers.Many taxi drivers refuse to pick up drunk and impaired individuals, because they either don’t pay or throw up in the car. This program was created to assist drivers who encounter intoxicated and impaired passengers who refuse to pay or throw up in the car.

The inspiration for Safe Rides dates back to “2018” when one of our drivers was involved in a drunk driving accident. A drunk driver slammed into him as he was assisting a client with their luggage. This left him devastated and he had to have one of his legs amputated. After which I wondered why was this individual driving and how could I help. The idea of Safe Rides was born. Simply give free rides to drunk and impaired individuals and we can greatly reduce and possibly end these terrible accidents.

We also realized that we would need the public’s help, as this would be very expensive. So we introduced the Safe Rides program’s donation system; Our donation system gives back to our donors. Every donation, automatically enters you in a raffle or lottery, where you can win cash, from $50 to $150,000. You can also win items. Safe Rides offers free transportation to impaired drivers, ensuring their safety and preventing any potential harm to other motorists and the public.
